A burial lot must be purchased before a legal burial can proceed, and a Burial Order is obtained from City Hall after the death certificate. The cemetery has no hearse: a funeral home must move the body from place of death to the mosque and from the mosque to the cemetery. Flat markers only (granite/bronze, min 4 inches thick, concrete apron), recommended 15x12 inches and never over 24x18; ISNP recommends waiting a full year before installing one.
