No. Wills, probate and intestacy are provincial matters. Toronto and Ottawa follow the same Ontario law; Calgary and Edmonton follow the same Alberta law.

The institutions around you — which mosque provides ghusl and janazah, which cemeteries have Muslim sections, which Islamic schools serve your area — and the cost of a burial, which varies substantially by region.

Wills, probate and estate administration in Canada are governed provincially, not municipally. There is no Toronto will law or Calgary probate procedure — there is Ontario law and Alberta law. So whichever city you live in, the rules that decide whether your will is valid, what probate costs, and what happens if you die without one come from your province.

That is why this page routes by city into the provincial guides. Find your city, follow it through to the province, and you will get the court, the statute, the probate fees and the intestacy rules that actually apply to you.
