Prayer times at Islamic Society of Regina
Worked out from this masjid’s coordinates for today’s date. They are not Islamic Society of Regina’s announced jamaa‘ah times — those are set by the masjid and usually differ. Check isrregina.ca for the jamaa‘ah timetable.

These are calculated times, not Islamic Society of Regina’s jamaa‘ah times. They are worked out in your browser from this masjid’s own coordinates and today’s date, using the ISNA convention — the same arithmetic a printed timetable uses. What a masjid announces is something else: iqamah is set by the masjid, usually a chosen number of minutes after the prayer begins, and many hold it at a fixed clock time for weeks at a stretch. So the two will not match, and they are not meant to. For the times the congregation actually prays, check the masjid’s own site or phone (306) 209-3912.
Janazah & burial services
Registered charity (CRA registration 24 December 2010); musallah originally established September 2009 at 87 Hanbidge Crescent, with a new masjid project under development. ISR raised $300,000 and built the Regina Muslim Cemetery at Richardson, which opened in 2021 on 20 acres the society owns; CBC reported the community also gained its own facility to store the deceased, removing the need for a funeral home. The society's own cemetery page still uses project language and publishes Cemetery Rules & Regulations (September 2024), a burial application form and a pre-authorized-debit option. Contact listed as Shahid Khawaja, 306-209-3912. Registered office: 206-408 Broad St., Regina, SK S4R 1X3.
Each line below is either confirmed from the organisation’s own material or marked as not confirmed. We publish the gaps rather than guess at them.
CBC reported in December 2021 that members pay less than $2,000 for a burial at the society's own cemetery, compared with roughly $7,000 previously at Riverside Memorial Park. Current figures are not published on the society's site - confirm by phone.

What we haven’t confirmed
We could not establish: On-site mortuary, Ghusl facility, Ghusl for women, by women, Kafan (shroud), Transport of the deceased, Janazah prayer and more. Those are published as gaps rather than filled with a plausible guess. If you know the answer — especially if you are from this organisation — tell us and we will verify and update the listing.
Planning ahead, rather than in a crisis?
The two things a funeral coordinator asks a family for are the burial wishes and the will. Recording where your will is kept and working out the inheritance shares now spares your family both questions at the worst possible moment.
