These are calculated times, not London Muslim Mosque’s jamaa‘ah times. They are worked out in your browser from this masjid’s own coordinates and today’s date, using the ISNA convention — the same arithmetic a printed timetable uses. What a masjid announces is something else: iqamah is set by the masjid, usually a chosen number of minutes after the prayer begins, and many hold it at a fixed clock time for weeks at a stretch. So the two will not match, and they are not meant to. For the times the congregation actually prays, check the masjid’s own site or phone (519) 439-9451.

About London Muslim Mosque

The mosque's own history page states: 'From the efforts beginning in the 1950s to the doors opening in 1964, the London Muslim Mosque has been serving a growing and flourishing community. The London Muslim Mosque is hailed as the first mosque in Ontario and the second mosque in Canada.' Elsewhere on the same page it lists 'Canada's oldest mosque in operation' among its distinguishing features. CRA's Charities Listing records LONDON MUSLIM MOSQUE, BN 863045654RR0001, London ON, as Registered with an effective date of status of 1968-01-01 — four years after the doors opened, and more than a decade after the community effort the mosque dates to the 1950s. The mosque runs its own licensed funeral transfer service (Bereavement Authority of Ontario licence TS-1501, TSO Class 2 - Restricted) and directs burials to the Islamic Cemetery of London at 6100 White Oak Road, which it notes is managed by the Islamic Centre of Southwest Ontario.

What we haven’t confirmed

We could not establish: Cold storage, Ghusl for women, by women, 24-hour janazah line. Those are published as gaps rather than filled with a plausible guess. If you know the answer — especially if you are from this organisation — tell us and we will verify and update the listing.

Planning ahead, rather than in a crisis?

The two things a funeral coordinator asks a family for are the burial wishes and the will. Recording where your will is kept and working out the inheritance shares now spares your family both questions at the worst possible moment.
