JANAZAH RE-CHECKED 2026-08-16: the sub-site's full page list was enumerated (36 pages) and its WordPress search API queried for 'funeral', 'janazah', 'janaza', 'burial' and 'ghusl' - all returned zero results, as did the same queries against MAC's national site macnet.ca. The centre's own Facebook page (MACCalgary) carries no janazah information and publishes no phone number. The organisation is silent on funerals rather than declaring it does not provide them, so all janazah fields stay null (not confirmed). A human should call to establish whether janazah prayers or ghusl are available, and note that in Calgary janazah is commonly handled by dedicated city-wide providers rather than by individual MAC centres - that should be confirmed, not assumed.

MAC's own facility page states: 'By the Grace and Will of Allah and the generous support of the community, MAC Calgary purchased Al-Salam Centre in September 2016. The center is located in the lively and well-served NW Calgary community of Ranchlands.' The centre has no charity registration of its own; the number recorded is the parent body's - MUSLIM ASSOCIATION OF CANADA, 880495163RR0001, registered effective 1999-01-01, Mississauga ON - seventeen years before this centre was bought. Al-Salam runs Friday prayers at three separate venues, which is a measure of how far it has outgrown the building.
