Community began with 4-5 families holding Jummah/Eid prayers in homes/halls; rented a 650 sqft musallah in 2003, moved to a 1,200 sqft hall at Cedar Park Place in 2005, expanded to a 4,000 sqft rental in 2008, bought a former church building in fall 2009, and opened its permanent home at 1980 Salton Road in spring 2010 (adjacent lot acquired 2018, doubling the land). Own About page states it now 'proudly serves over 400 Muslim families' with prayer facilities, Islamic education, youth activities and dawah, and that its annual Open Mosque Day draws 'over 500 visitors from the larger Abbotsford Community.' Runs a weekend school/madrasa (own site's 'What's Happening' menu lists 'Weekend School/Madrasa'). Funeral/janazah services are coordinated centrally by BCMA, not by this branch alone (the branch does list a local volunteer 'Funeral Services' committee contact on its team page, but that is an internal role, not a published public emergency line, so it is not used here).
