Ottawa Muslim Cemetery, a registered non-profit, publishes a full price list: $2,000 for an adult burial lot and $1,850 for opening and closing, for a full service price of $3,850, taxes included. Local mosques handle the funeral side on a donation basis - Masjid Bilal states plainly that there are no fixed fees and estimates about $1,000 to cover pickup, transport, ghusl, coffin, shroud and storage. A realistic Ottawa total is roughly $3,900 to $5,200.
Low end = Ottawa Muslim Cemetery full service price $3,850 (lot $2,000 + opening and closing $1,850, taxes included) plus the $30 BAO Consumer Protection Fee, with a minimal or waived mosque donation = about $3,880. - Marker and supplies pricing: the 'Price List - Markers & Supplies 2026' referenced by Ottawa Muslim Cemetery was not retrieved. Concrete liner, flat grave cover and retractable vase prices are all unknown.
