In Mississauga and Peel, ISNA Canada runs the best-documented Muslim funeral service, at a flat $1,500 for an adult and $550 for an infant under three, covering transport, ghusl facilities, casket, kafan and documentation. The cemetery is again the swing factor, and the spread is wide: ISNA resells interment rights at $4,000 at Meadowvale Cemetery and $8,500 at Glen Oaks. That puts a realistic Peel total at roughly $5,600 to $10,100 before a headstone.

Low end = ISNA Canada flat funeral service fee $1,500 + city burial permit $65 + Meadowvale Cemetery grave lot $4,000 = $5,565. High end = $1,500 + burial permit $100 + Glen Oaks Cemetery grave lot $8,500 = $10,100. The BAO Consumer Protection Fee of $30 is already inside ISNA's $1,500. Excludes headstone, excludes any separate cemetery opening and closing charge (see gaps), and excludes repatriation.

Ontario burial permit and death registration

ISNA Canada quotes 'City Burial Permits ($65.00 - $100.00)' as a disbursement, plus a $30 BAO fee retainer. The permit is issued by the municipal clerk where the death is registered, so Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon may differ. Ontario's family-led death care rules still apply: a family member may register the death and transport the body without a licence provided it is done at no charge, but The fee runs about $65–$100.

Published so you know where the numbers stop:
