About Faizan-e-Madina Islamic Center Regina
The Faizan-e-Madina Islamic Center Regina at 1169 Athol Street is one of more than thirteen Canadian centres listed on the official site of Dawat-e-Islami Canada. Dawat-e-Islami describes itself as an international, non-political Islamic organisation working to spread the message of the Quran and Sunnah, established in 1981 in Karachi by Allama Maulana Abu Bilal Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadri. Across its Canadian centres it holds weekly Islamic gatherings for brothers and sisters, zikr sessions, Quran classes for adults and children, Friday prayers and youth gatherings, and trains scholars through Jamia-tul-Madina in Montreal. The Regina centre operates under Dawat-e-Islami Canada, which is itself a registered charity (BN 819335662RR0001, registered effective 6 November 2013); no separate charitable registration was found for the Regina centre.
