Prayer times at Al-Falah Islamic Centre
Worked out from this masjid’s coordinates for today’s date. They are not Al-Falah Islamic Centre’s announced jamaa‘ah times — those are set by the masjid and usually differ. Check alfalahcentre.ca for the jamaa‘ah timetable.

These are calculated times, not Al-Falah Islamic Centre’s jamaa‘ah times. They are worked out in your browser from this masjid’s own coordinates and today’s date, using the ISNA convention — the same arithmetic a printed timetable uses. What a masjid announces is something else: iqamah is set by the masjid, usually a chosen number of minutes after the prayer begins, and many hold it at a fixed clock time for weeks at a stretch. So the two will not match, and they are not meant to. For the times the congregation actually prays, check the masjid’s own site or phone (905) 257-4262.

Janazah & burial services
Operated as the Oakville chapter of ICNA Canada; the alfalahcentre.ca domain redirects to icna.website/alfalahcentre. Runs a Hifz program plus Tafseer/Hadith classes and a youth program ('Rise & Lead'). Appears linked to a separately-branded full-time day school, Al Falah Islamic School -- may warrant its own school-team entity. Phone re-checked 2026-08-16: the website itself still publishes NO phone number anywhere (contact page gives only the address and alfalah@icna.ca, plus a WhatsApp group invite link with no number); the 905-257-4262 number now recorded comes from the centre's own Facebook page, which is linked from its own website footer. JANAZAH: the whole subsite is only 9 pages, every one was fetched, and none mentions janazah, funeral, ghusl or burial; the Facebook profile is likewise silent. All janazah fields therefore remain null (not confirmed) rather than false - a human should call 905-257-4262 to establish whether any funeral support is offered.
Each line below is either confirmed from the organisation’s own material or marked as not confirmed. We publish the gaps rather than guess at them.

About Al-Falah Islamic Centre
Al-Falah Islamic Centre was established in 1997 (Ontario Heritage Trust's Doors Open Ontario listing: 'Established in 1997, the Al Falah Islamic Centre provides religious, social, recreational and educational services'); the centre's own website gives no founding year. It operates as the Oakville chapter of ICNA Canada, whose registered charity - ISLAMIC CIRCLE OF NORTH AMERICA, 118951169RR0001, registered effective 1981-01-01 - lists its CRA mailing address as 391 Burnhamthorpe Road East, Oakville, the Al-Falah building itself. The charity registration therefore predates the centre by sixteen years and belongs to the national body, not to Al-Falah alone. The centre states its purpose is 'to earn the pleasure of Allah (SWT) through complete devotion to Him and by sharing the true and universal message of Islam', serves Oakville, Milton and Mississauga, and has received site plan approval for a new masjid and youth centre in Milton.

What we haven’t confirmed
We could not establish: On-site mortuary, Cold storage, Ghusl facility, Ghusl for women, by women, Kafan (shroud), Transport of the deceased and more. Those are published as gaps rather than filled with a plausible guess. If you know the answer — especially if you are from this organisation — tell us and we will verify and update the listing.
Planning ahead, rather than in a crisis?
The two things a funeral coordinator asks a family for are the burial wishes and the will. Recording where your will is kept and working out the inheritance shares now spares your family both questions at the worst possible moment.
