Worked out from this masjid’s coordinates for today’s date. They are not Muslim Neighbour Nexus (MNN)’s announced jamaa‘ah times — those are set by the masjid and usually differ. Check mnnexus.ca for the jamaa‘ah timetable.

These are calculated times, not Muslim Neighbour Nexus (MNN)’s jamaa‘ah times. They are worked out in your browser from this masjid’s own coordinates and today’s date, using the ISNA convention — the same arithmetic a printed timetable uses. What a masjid announces is something else: iqamah is set by the masjid, usually a chosen number of minutes after the prayer begins, and many hold it at a fixed clock time for weeks at a stretch. So the two will not match, and they are not meant to. For the times the congregation actually prays, check the masjid’s own site or phone (833) 666-3520.

Janazah & burial services
Registered charity (CRA #802570507 RR0001) serving the Churchill Meadows and Lisgar communities of Mississauga (Ward 10, ~10,000 Muslims). Offers Qur'aan classes, a matrimonial service, counselling, a religious committee and financial assistance. ⚠️ Its 'Funeral Financial Aid' / 'MNN Janazah Support Program' is a COST-SHARING MEMBERSHIP SCHEME, not a funeral service: MNN has partnered with the Yusr Funeral Financial Assistance Program, which handles member registration and organises collective contributions to help cover funeral expenses at the time of a janazah. No ghusl, mortuary, transport or burial coordination is offered or claimed anywhere on the site, so those fields stay unconfirmed rather than being read as services. A family needing the physical janazah service should contact a Mississauga provider; MNN can only help with the cost, and only for enrolled members.
Each line below is either confirmed from the organisation’s own material or marked as not confirmed. We publish the gaps rather than guess at them.
MNN does not run a janazah operation; it runs a Funeral Financial Aid (Janazah Support) program in partnership with Yusr. Members pay a one-time joining fee, choose an individual, couple or family plan, and when a janazah occurs 'the total cost is fairly split among all registered members', with an email telling each member the exact amount due. Registration and administration are handled entirely by Yusr, not MNN.

About Muslim Neighbour Nexus (MNN)
MNN publishes a dated timeline of its own history. It records that in August 2012 'MNN Formed and Incorporated' and 'Started Salaatul Jumu'ah at Churchill Meadows Library', and that in November 2012 it 'Acquired Registered Charity status with CRA' — which CRA confirms exactly: Muslim Neighbour Nexus, BN 802570507RR0001, Mississauga ON, Registered with an effective date of status of 2012-11-09. The timeline then runs: Taraweeh at the library from July 2013; a first open-air Eid in August 2013; a seniors' programme from April 2014; Taraweeh at Stephen Lewis School from June 2014; land negotiations with EMDC begun May 2016; an agreement to purchase five acres signed July 2016; ownership taken and Phase 1 plans begun March 2017; a building permit received June 2018; and the 'Masjid Opened for Salaah' in May 2019. Phase 2 planning was initiated in September 2020 and the community was surveyed that October. MNN describes itself as serving 'the Churchill Meadows and Lisgar Communities of Mississauga – a big area constituting a whole city ward (Ward 10), where the Muslim population is about 10,000.'

What we haven’t confirmed
We could not establish: On-site mortuary, Cold storage, Ghusl facility, Ghusl for women, by women, Kafan (shroud), Transport of the deceased and more. Those are published as gaps rather than filled with a plausible guess. If you know the answer — especially if you are from this organisation — tell us and we will verify and update the listing.
Planning ahead, rather than in a crisis?
The two things a funeral coordinator asks a family for are the burial wishes and the will. Recording where your will is kept and working out the inheritance shares now spares your family both questions at the worst possible moment.
