The centre states on its own homepage that 'Meadowvale Islamic Centre (MIC) is a registered charitable organization with the Government of Canada under CRA Charity registration number 861881670RR0001' — a number CRA confirms under the legal name MEADOWVALE ISLAMIC CENTRE INC., Mississauga ON, Registered with an effective date of status of 2005-05-09 at 6508 Winston Churchill Blvd, the centre's own address. Its masjid project update records that construction began on 16 June 2020, that partial occupancy was later granted, and that 'Taraweeh/5 time prayers have started from 1st Ramadan 2025', with the gym, flooring, basement and dome interior still outstanding. Until 1 July, Friday prayers were also held at Meadowvale West Church to accommodate the overflow; all three Jumu'ah jama'ahs are now held at the new masjid, and the centre asks attendees to consider the second or third 'due to space limitations in the masjid'.
