Prayer times at Jamia Riyadhul Jannah
Worked out from this masjid’s coordinates for today’s date. They are not Jamia Riyadhul Jannah’s announced jamaa‘ah times — those are set by the masjid and usually differ. Check mississaugamasjid.com for the jamaa‘ah timetable.

These are calculated times, not Jamia Riyadhul Jannah’s jamaa‘ah times. They are worked out in your browser from this masjid’s own coordinates and today’s date, using the ISNA convention — the same arithmetic a printed timetable uses. What a masjid announces is something else: iqamah is set by the masjid, usually a chosen number of minutes after the prayer begins, and many hold it at a fixed clock time for weeks at a stretch. So the two will not match, and they are not meant to. For the times the congregation actually prays, check the masjid’s own site or phone (905) 567-1786.

About Jamia Riyadhul Jannah
The masjid's own homepage states: 'By the Grace of Allah and by the Blessings of Rasoolullah (PBUH) Jamia Riyadhul Jannah is an Ahlul Sunnah Wal Jama'ah Masjid. This masjid was established in 2010 by the Canadian Society of Peace and Relief (CSPR) and under the supervision and guidance of Prof. Imam Syed Badiuddin Soharwardy. Canadian Society Peace and Relief which is a registered charity in Canada.' CRA registered Canadian Society of Peace & Relief (840810360RR0001) effective 2011-03-12 at 6680 Campobello Rd, Mississauga - the masjid's own address - a year after the masjid was established. JRJ describes itself as 'the centre of Muslim unity in the GTA where Muslims of different background, traditions and denominations come together', and unusually for a Canadian mosque it publishes financial reports on its own site.
From the organisation’s own pages, checked 13 Aug 2026 — see the sources below.
Sunni — The masjid states it on its own homepage and about page: 'By the Grace of Allah and by the Blessings of Rasoolullah (PBUH) Jamia Riyadhul Jannah is an Ahlul Sunnah Wal Jama'ah Masjid.' That is a report we have not confirmed with the organisation itself, and we would rather show you where it came from than present it as settled.
What we haven’t confirmed
We could not establish: Ghusl for women, by women, 24-hour janazah line. Those are published as gaps rather than filled with a plausible guess. If you know the answer — especially if you are from this organisation — tell us and we will verify and update the listing.
Planning ahead, rather than in a crisis?
The two things a funeral coordinator asks a family for are the burial wishes and the will. Recording where your will is kept and working out the inheritance shares now spares your family both questions at the worst possible moment.
