A Quran reading program for children aged 5 to 14 run by the Centre Islamique de l'Outaouais, meeting Sundays 10:00-12:30 and again on Tuesdays (time not published), across two venues: the basement of the CIO Gatineau mosque and Masjid Meriam at 355 rue Notre-Dame. Registration is required by email to alfurqan@cio-oic.ca. Smaller and more informal than a graded school, but included because it is one of only a handful of Islamic children's programs on the Quebec side of the Ottawa-Gatineau region. The phone number is the CIO's main line.

What we haven’t confirmed
We could not establish: co-ed or single-sex, hifz program, credit-granting status, busing, before/after care, tuition. Those are published as gaps rather than filled with a plausible guess. If you know the answer — especially if you are from this organisation — tell us and we will verify and update the listing.

Families who use this school often ask the same question about their own estate: whether a will written here will actually be honoured.
