A publicly funded Islamic alternative program — FMIS joined the Fort McMurray Public School Board in 2005 and teaches the Alberta Curriculum from an Islamic perspective with Alberta-certified teachers. Qur'an, Arabic and Islamic Studies are taught as their own subjects (a daily Islamic Program) alongside the provincial curriculum. Also known as FMIS. Because it is a public school rather than a private one, the private-school 'accredited' flag does not apply.

If you know the answer — especially if you are from this organisation — tell us and we will verify and update the listing.
