The current masjid building (approximately 28000 SF) was purchased in 1996 and converted to its current state in the last 12 years.' CRA registered it under the legal name NABAWI MOSQUE (890078793RR0001) effective 1995-01-01 at 2074 Kipling Ave, Etobicoke - the masjid's own address - a year after it was established and a year before it bought the building. Its stated mission is 'to bring the message of Islam to Muslims and non-Muslims and provide services to facilitate and promote Islamic conduct in an environment of brotherhood'.
