THIS IS THE 'ISLAMIC SCHOOL OF CAMBRIDGE' — confirmed directly on the school's own 'Our School' page: 'The International School of Cambridge (formerly called Islamic School of Cambridge) was founded in 1992 as a private school,' and independently corroborated by the Islamic Centre of Cambridge's own history timeline: '1992 - Established Islamic School of Cambridge, a full-time Islamic School with a Hifz program.' The school rebranded to 'International School of Cambridge' at some point but is still commonly searched/known by its original name, and its own Facebook page is literally titled 'ISofCambridge' (facebook.com/ISofCambridge) and its Twitter/X handle is @isoc1550. Owned and operated by the Islamic Centre of Cambridge (ICC), located adjacent to ICC's Jami Mosque at the same 1550 Dunbar Rd address. Registered as an Ontario private school (Reg #876402), Ontario curriculum plus integrated Islamic Studies/Arabic and daily Zuhr + weekly Friday prayer for students. EQAO tested (Gr 3 & 6). Also runs an Islamic Studies Sunday School and evening Quran classes (see the Islamic Centre of Cambridge mosque entity) - hence 'weekend' is also true alongside full-time. Principal as of 2025-26: Dr. Safdar Muhammad. High-school-admission page returns 404 - school appears to be elementary (JK-8) only despite a 'High School Admission' nav link.
