About Meadowvale Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centres

Mount Pleasant Group's page states that Meadowvale Cemetery, Funeral and Cremation Centres has served Brampton, Mississauga and surrounding communities 'Since 1981', on '127 acres of picturesque landscape' that include 'a two-acre wildlife sanctuary, award-winning landscape architecture and a tranquil rural setting'. It holds three Bereavement Authority of Ontario licences — funeral establishment FE1-1103, cemetery CM-2020018 and crematorium CR-2020070 — and publishes 905-451-3716 as a 24-hour line. It is one of the two main Muslim burial grounds in Peel; ISNA Canada names it as one of its two coordinated cemeteries, and a Mount Pleasant Group interment permission form reproduced by Bab Ul Hawaij Islamic Centre identifies the Muslim burial area as 'Section 34 MUSLIM' (flat-marker graves). Mount Pleasant Group's own page does not advertise faith-specific sections. No CRA charity registration was found for Mount Pleasant Group; it operates as a non-profit trust rather than a registered charity.
