Community mosque serving Ajax since 1992; registered Bereavement Authority of Ontario Transport Service Operator, licence XX-1060. Provides ghusl, kafan, an on-site mortuary with refrigeration, the janazah prayer, body transport, burial and grave coordination, documentation assistance and a post-burial religious assembly. Coordinates burials at Toronto Muslim Cemetery (13076 Leslie St, Richmond Hill) and Thornton Cemetery (Oshawa). One of only three janazah service providers found in Durham Region.

• five daily prayers, with the adhan called 15 minutes before each prayer
• full Islamic funeral services under Bereavement Authority of Ontario Transport Service Operator licence XX-1060: accompanying the next of kin to the hospital and handling the release documentation, ghusl and shrouding at the masjid, salat al-janazah, transport to the cemetery, and burial coordination at a family's chosen cemetery
• evening Qur'an classes Monday to Thursday 5:30-7:30 pm and Sundays 10 am-1 pm, in person only, open to anyone over 4 years old ($50 registration covering books plus $60 per month per child, with multi-child discounts)
• weekly Tafseer after Isha at 7:30 pm hosted by Shaikh Talha
• matrimonial and nikah services by a licensed imam with counselling ($300 at the masjid, $500 at an outside venue)

The mosque titles its own homepage 'Masjid al Aqsaa Ajax - Community Mosque Since 1992' and describes itself as 'serving the community of Ajax since 1992'. It is 'Located at 43 Station Street in Ajax, Ontario', where it is 'a hub for worship, learning, and community connection. We welcome everyone - regardless of background.' CRA registered Masjid Al Aqsaa Ajax Inc. (847515574RR0001) effective 2018-01-01 at 43 Station Street - the mosque's own address - 26 years after the congregation began. It is one of only three janazah providers found in Durham Region and holds Bereavement Authority of Ontario TSO licence XX-1060.
